MERRY CHRISTMAS!!
Christmas is always hectic every year! We spend Christmas Eve with my husband's family. This year, we did it at our house and had TONS of food and people! Many of his nieces and nephews were here with all of their kids, so it was definitely a crowd! Christmas morning, the girls were up at 6:30am, and woke us all up, including Jaxon. After opening presents, we went to my dad's house for a big waffle, eggs, bacon, and sausage breakfast. Later in the afternoon, we headed to my mom's house for white chili, cornbread, fudge, and more presents! After that, it's back to our house where everyone gathers to play games until late at night. By the end of it all, we are exhausted! Good times!

Jaxon's 1st Haircut!
Jaxon's hair has been getting really long lately and out of control, not to mention, pretty funny looking! So, I took a risk and trimmed his hair for the first time. I wasn't sure what I was doing or if I was doing it right, but I just grabbed some scissors and went chop. At first, I was horrified at what I had just done. I have to admit it did not look very good at that point, but after a few more snips and then wetting it down and styling, it looked much better! I think I did pretty good for my first "boy" haircut!

Thanksgiving 2009
We had a great Thanksgiving. It was really nice to spend time with family and think of all of the things we are thankful for. The day after Thanksgiving, instead of fighting crowds of people in noisy stores, we set out to the Big Horns where it was peaceful and quiet. We found the perfect tree to take home and decorate. We ate chili and drank hot chocolate and had a great time! We finished putting up our lights and decorations this weekend and all in all had a very fun and relaxing vacation!

Happy Halloween!
We had a fun Halloween. Rylee, Kyra, and Jaxon wore their costumes all day. Kaitlyn decided she was too old to dress up this year and go trick or treating because she is in middle school now and it's not "cool" any more. I had to talk her into dressing up for a little while just so I could take their pictures together! We made our traditional Halloween sugar cookies and just had a fun day together hanging out at home. Later after trick or treating, we stayed up late and watched a movie and ate popcorn and candy. Fun Times!

WOW! Time Goes By So Fast!!
Here we are in October already! Where has the time gone? We have been busy getting used to having a baby around again. I love it! It has been quite an adjustment for all of us, but it is worth it. As you probably already know, I have been working for Eleutian Technologies as an English teacher. I love this job. I have had so much fun getting to know my Korean students! They are so fun to talk to.
I was working from 5-7pm and 3-5am, 5 days a week during the summer and now I have cut it down to just 3-5am since the night shift was too difficult to manage. Once school started, I ended up having too many other responsibilities with my kids and their extracurricular activities and it was too difficult. Also, we were having dinner every night at 8:00pm, which was fine during the summer, but doesn't work well during the school year. Also, my girls were having to babysit Jaxon for me during those 2 hours, which was difficult for them to handle at times. I have to really thank Maddison for helping Rylee out with the babysitting while Kaitlyn was at volleyball practice!
So now I am just working the morning shift which works a lot better because everyone is asleep at that time and it doesn't interfere with my day. It is difficult to have to deal with Jaxon during his nightime feedings and then have to work and miss out on sleep, but it's worth it since I get to work from home and the job is fun!
Jaxon is already 4 months old! Our family loves having him around and we can't hardly resist his cuteness. He gets a lot of comments from people about his cute chipmunk cheeks! He's always getting mauled by his sisters, who give him plenty of hugs and kisses! I am posting some various pictures that I took during the summer. I took a lot of pictures and it's hard to decide which ones to use or not, so I'm posting some of my favorites!
