SLEEPOVER!!
On Friday, I somehow ended up with a bunch of my nieces and nephews, including Lauren, Thomas, Brenen, and Cason, and Kaitlyn's friend Jamie. We came up with the idea of having a big sleepover. So they called all their parents and got permission, and gathered all their pajamas and sleeping bags. We ate tacos for dinner and then played a little air hockey. Then we got the crazy idea to have our own little American Idol contest. Brenen, Lauren, and Thomas were our judges, and Kaitlyn, Jamie, Rylee, and Kyra were our singers. It was so fun and hilarious! After that, we all got our jammies on and made some popcorn and camped out in front of the T.V. to watch Spiderwick, as the kids all drifted off to sleep one by one. On Saturday, we hung out for awhile and played video games, and then decided to go outside and play hide & seek tag, jump on the tramp, and play with the dogs. They finally left Saturday afternoon. It was a lot of fun and something we'll definitely have to do again!!

HAPPY NEW YEAR!!
Our New Year's Eve was pretty quiet this year. My husband, Dave was tired and went to bed at 10:00pm. So me & my girls decided to just have a quiet night to ourselves, though we did invite my dad over so he wouldn't have to spend it alone. We watched a movie and played games and had plenty to snack on all night! Kyra didn't quite make it to midnight and fell asleep at about 11:00. Kaitlyn & Rylee made it, but by that time, they were pretty tired and didn't show much excitement for the new year!
Ice Skating!
We decided to go ice skating for the first time since I was a kid, and for my girls, their first time ever! It's been great to be on vacation and be able to do so many things as a family!
