EASTER!!!

FAMILY TIME!!

On Friday, (April 10), we all had time off to be able to enjoy some family time together. We loaded up the dirtbike and the 4 wheeler and went towards Powell, just outside of Garland to the slopes. We enjoyed a little riding and then afterwards went out to the Deaver Reservoir and fished a little. On Saturday, we went fishing again and this time we brought some food to snack on while we fished. We ended up catching a fish, too. Kyra was pretty excited about that! It was soooo nice to get out and enjoy the nice weather and spend quality time together as a family!

SURPRISE!!!

On Wednesday of last week (April 1), me and my girls went over to my mom's house because she had invited us over for dinner. I thought this was wierd, because my mom never does this unless it's a special occasion, like a holiday or some sort of event (it was April Fool's Day, but that's not usually a holiday that we celebrate). But, hey, it's free food, so what the heck! And surprise, surprise, my sister and her kids were here, all the way from Michigan!! I haven't seen her or Hayden for over 3 years and I have never gotten to meet my niece, Madison. We were soooo excited!!! I guess my mom had known they were coming for a day or so, and her and Sherrill had kept it secret from the rest of us. Sherrill's husband came with her but he stayed in Casper to visit with his family. We had a nice time while they were here, but sadly they left Friday afternoon because the weather was starting to look nasty and they wanted to make it back to Casper without having to deal with it too much. They actually got snowed in at Casper and couldn't leave back to Michigan until Monday, April 6th. I am so glad they were able to come visit us, hopefully we won't have to wait another 3 years to see them again!!
