Aug 28 - Yellowstone Park

We had to go to Bozeman on Aug 27 so I could take pictures at a wedding reception for some Hinckley family members.  On the way home the next day, we drove through Yellowstone and checked out the sites.  Had a great trip!!!

1st Day of School!!

Aug 24 - They're sooo excited for their 1st day of school today.  Kyra's in 2nd grade, Kaitlyn's in 8th grade, and Rylee's in 6th!!!!

Aug 20- Had to post some cute pics of Jaxon.  He's lovin the corn on the cob in the first picture!  In the other pics, I took pictures as he got the peanut butter out for his sandwich...

 He pushes a chair over to the cupboard...

 grabs the peanut butter off the shelf...

 stops for a cheesy smile at the camera...

 places it on the counter...

 and enjoys his hard earned sandwich!!

Aug 15- This is just one of the many things Jaxon likes to play with now.  Ughh, worms!  He also loves to either catch or step on grasshoppers and other bugs.  He's fascinated by them.  I'm doing my best to not be too grossed out since I understand he's a boy and this is what they do, I guess.

Bye Bye Trixie!

Aug 14 - We said goodbye to our dog Trixie today.  We had to give her away because I'm too allergic to her, but it was a sad day for the kids, especially Rylee.  Boomer and Trixie were just starting to become pretty close.  They loved to run around together.  Before she left, we cleaned her up and took pictures.  I know she'll be happier in her new home!!

Kids and Garden

Aug 13-  Just posting some pics of the kids in the backyard and my garden.  The weeds are totally out of control in it, but it is doing great and I've got lots of tomatoes, corn, pumpkins, potatoes, and onions.

I've been trying to get Jaxon to sleep on his bed at naptime.  I took a picture because I thought it was funny how he's laying half off the bed.  Looks really comfortable!

Cowley 2nd Ward Community Garden

Aug 13- I wanted to post a picture of the garden to show how well it's doing.  We've been in charge of one of the green bean rows.  It's been a challenge watering that row because it keeps springing leaks so the water takes forever to reach the end of the row and sometimes doesn't make it at all.  We have tried to fix the leaks, but they're very persistent!!!  But me and my kids have really enjoyed helping with the garden this year and I'm hoping we can do it again next year!!

Swimming and Icecream!!

Aug 13- On a whim, we decided to go to Lovell's wading pool.

Jaxon didn't want to go in unless he could take off his swimming trunks.  He tried to take off his diaper too, but that's where I had to draw the line!!
