Family

Rylee had to leave the day after Thanksgiving cause she has to work Black Friday at H&M, so after I got off work this morning after working night shift, I made breakfast for everyone...bisquits and gravy, bacon, scrambled eggs, hashbrowns, and monsters.

Then, we decorated for Christmas....

On Saturday, we were going to go sledding up by Antelope Butte, but it snowed/rained and the roads were terrible, so then we thought we'd just go up the mountain like we always do, but Mark and Miranda drove up to see how it was and said the roads were icy and there's no snow at 5 Springs, so that's not really an option.  It was kind of rainy and wet out, but we still got together and ate chili that Autumn made, cinnamon rolls that I made and hot chocolate that Stacy brought.  After that, we just went over to the hill by our house and sled down the hill with the little bit of snow that was still on it and then out to Stacy and Alan's land to pull sleds around.  Had a great time with family!!!

Thanksgiving

Making pies!!!

Discovered an easier way to size the pie crust....cut it before you lay it on the pie pan.  Works great!!

Also use spray and flour when rolling out...keeps it from sticking!!
Used papa's shape cutter's to cut shapes in the top crust...looks good!!
20 pies....last time it was 18, so it's a new record number of pies!!! 6 pumpkin, 6 chocolate, 4 coconut cream, 2 apple, and 2 cherry.

Thursday night, some of Dave's family came over to watch the game and play games before I had to leave to work the night shift at 11:00.  Played the CSI game I just bought.  Was hard to figure out at first, but once we did, it was fun!

This is a picture of Dave's family eating Thanksgiving dinner at the Bull Pub that they rented out for their family.  I didn't go cause I just stayed with my family, but the kids went.
