November 18 and 19 - It's Snowing!!

Snowed 2 days in a row!  Not a lot but it still counts!!

Kyra started texting me around 1:30 Sunday morning after the BYU game just as I was falling asleep, that she was having pains in her stomach and thought it could be appendicitis.  I told her to call this nurse line at this hospital and get in right away.  She had a roommate drive her there and they gave her meds through an IV and a Cat Scan.  Found out it's a bladder infection and she just needs antibiotics so that's a relief.  Couldn't sleep till I knew she was home safe and that was around 5am, so we ended up missing church so I could get some much needed sleep!  Glad she's alright!  She said the doctors were great there and she loved them all!  So thankful :)

Kyra made it to the BYU game!  They were undefeated coming into this game but then lost tonight against Kansas :)

 

Kyra's Trip Home

Kyra had to leave this morning a little before 10:00 to get home for a BYU game tonight with friends.   So, me and Dave watched her on Life360 the whole day and noticed her going a different direction from when she came. She was driving toward Kemmerer instead of towards Green River.  Called and asked her to make sure she wasn't lost.  She said she was just following the GPS.  She drove through Diamondville and down to the interstate on 189, but instead of getting on the Interstate right before Evanston , she drove past the entrance to a road that went along the interstate.  Dave noticed and called her to ask why.  Again, she said she was just following what the GPS said.  He told her that way is going to take her way longer and that she should just turn round and get on the interstate.  She decided to keep going and it eventually led her back to the interstate, but soon found out that the GPS was actually leading her on a detour around several accidents on the interstate and backed up traffic for miles!  Come to find out, she avoided possibly being in an accident herself and/or getting stuck in miles long backup of cars that actually sat there for hours!  If she had gone the way she came up, she would have gotten in trouble so thank heavens the GPS is smarter than we are and that she listened to it instead of us!!  After getting on the interstate at Evanston, she had to travel around 10-20mph because of the slick conditions and traffic, but soon after she crossed into Utah, it cleared up and she was on her way again with no problems.  I follow a weather page on Facebook and it was blowing with everyone's comments about what was going on, so I know she avoided a lot of despair with how it turned out.  I know for sure the Lord was looking out for her!! :)

 

November 15 - Billings and Moss Mansion

Let Jaxon skip school and we spent the whole day in Billings with Rylee, just going from store to store to grab a few things and just kill time together while we wait to got to Moss Mansion tonight.  Grabbed a quick bite to eat at McDonald's.  Rylee showed us how to order from the app and save a lot of money!  Later that night, we bought Pizza Hut Pizza (Rylee's also a very loyal customer there and they have her name on file as she always orders 2 medium pizzas).  Went back to Rylee and Nevin's to wait for Kaitlyn, Josh and Kevin to all get off work.  Met up with Stacy and Autumn and her kids at the Moss Mansion and had a super fun time!  Kyra ended up picking the murder clip board and got a chance to kill some of us off, including me, Mckayla and Ashlyn and 2 other random women.  She was really good about it too!  I thought I was being safe by having her and me stick together from room to room to avoid being murdered, but as soon as she was in a room with just the two of us and found a weapon, she quickly killed me. I even got it on video....hilarious!  Glad we got this opportunity as it was such a fun time!!!
