Gathered for New Years Eve at my house and New Years Day at mom's. Autumn and her girls have been sick and Ashlynn has pink eye, so they weren't able to come over. Josh had to work, Mark and Miranda had kids to put to bed, Mom and Larry aren't late night people, Dave went to bed, and Scrawny and Alan are just lame. By 9:00pm on New Year's Eve, everyone had left, except for me, Jax, Stacy, Stacey, Jasper, and Stacia. The only game we played all night was Five Crowns. Wanted to play Phase 10 but I couldn't find it. Would have played earlier but everyone was busy eating and chatting and Stacy was tied up with her grand babies. Cooper went to party That Cooper Ward was having and Jaxon was invited but didn't want to go. So, needless to say, it was a very quiet evening.
New Years Day....Samuel on my BeReal. Want to try to capture a photo everyday this year and decided BeReal is a good place to keep them organized. Also, went to Lovell to deposit money at bank drop box and was coming into the intersection to turnoff to Byron, listening to my music and kind of spacing out, driving 71 in the 55mph speed zone there, when I realized how fast I was going and started to slow down, just as I noticed a black car sitting there waiting to turn to Byron and thought it looked like a cop from the front but couldn't tell. As I drove past it, I couldn't even see any letters on the side of it to tell me if it was. Till I drove past it and looked in my rear view mirror to see it flip a U turn and flip on his lights. Ughhh....I pulled off onto road that goes over the bridge over the Shoshoni river. It was Mollett and he just gave me a warning thank heavens! What a way to start off the New Year!
