June 2

Jaxon loves to use his walker outside. He has started taking a few steps here and there, but he loves his walker because he can get there faster. I have also tried putting shoes on him, but as you can see, they don't stay on very well!

Memorial Day

Since the weather was so nice, we all decided to head for the hills! We ended up going out to the Pryors for a picnic and 4 wheeling. My sisters and their kids came and we ate hamburgers and hotdogs that my wonderful brother in law, Alan was nice enough to cook for us. Jaxon can't walk yet, so he ended up crawling around in the dirt and cactus. Afterwards, everyone was ready for a ride. I didn't know if Jaxon would enjoy it too much, so I considered staying there, or heading home with my sister Autumn and her baby. But then we decided to see how it goes and if he gets fussy, we could always turn around and come back. So we headed out on the 4 wheelers. I held Jaxon on my lap, while Dave drove. Within 5 minutes, Jaxon was asleep. I guess the loud noise and big bumps were too much for him, so he slept for the first half hour that we rode. Everytime we stopped to wait for people, he would start to wake up, so as long as we kept moving he kept sleeping. Eventually, he woke up, but he just kept riding, only squirming when we stopped. As long as we were moving, he would hunker down behind his Dad (he didn't like the wind) and just ride along peacefully. He loved it! We rode for probably 2 hours or so and he did great! I never thought he would enjoy it as much as he did. I was also amazed at Kaitlyn's driving skills. She drove our little 4 wheeler over some pretty big bumps and dips with no problems at all. We ended up climbing and descending the hill in the first picture! You can see the path zigzagging down the side. Had a fun day!

Jaxon loves to play on the back patio. We had to set up a gate to keep him from falling through the railing or down the stairs. He loves to watch the dogs from there, and he can be outside while I work inside and I am able to keep an eye on him, knowing he can't get too far!

Girl's Night!

May 29

Tonight, me and my husband went out for pizza and a movie while my sisters watched our kids. They ended up watching movies together and eating lots of popcorn, candy, chips and pop. Then, after putting Jaxon to bed, had a girls nite! They put fingernails and makeup on each other. Looks like fun!

Garden!

May 28

I have finally transplanted my tomato plants into the garden. All of my other vegetables are growing really well! I have peas, onions, lettuce, potatoes, pumpkins, watermelon, and corn. It's so exciting!

Kyra's 1st Game!

May 26
Kyra had her 1st t-ball game today in Lovell. She did pretty good for her first time. She always had to bat last, so even if she made it to a base, they had to switch sides, so she never got a chance to make it all the way around. I think she had fun, but she isn't super excited about it. Her favorite part of it, is the treats they get after the game! We all had to be there to watch her. My sister, Stacy came, and my younger sister Autumn and her kids have moved back here from Washington, so they came, too. It was nice to have so many people there to cheer her on. GO KYRA!

Birthday Party at the Reef!

May 22, 2010

We all drove up to Billings to attend a birthday party for Maureen's grand-daughter, Lazuli. We all met up at the Reef and ate pizza and then went SWIMMING!! This was our first trip to the Reef. The girls loved it, Jaxon, not so much. The first picture is on the way up to Billings. Jaxon loves to hold my phone while it plays music: his very own MP3 player. Later, we tried to put Jax in the water, but it was too cold and he hated it. So, we let him crawl down the hallways of the hotel and play in the gaming section of the building. Later, he crashed from all the excitement. Kaitlyn and Rylee's favorite part was the big slides. Kyra loved floating on the inner tubes in the wave pool. All of their cousins from my husband's side of the family were there, too. Afterwards, we gathered for cupcakes, icecream bars, and presents! Had lots of fun!
