Spring Cleaning!

April 9 - I have caught the spring cleaning bug!  I am so embarrased to show these pictures, but I'm also very excited about the progress we have made over the past week! 

We have had so many clothes given to us recently from my daughters friends, so it was necessary to get rid of some of their old things.  This is the pile of clothes from our furnace room.  Years of collecting clothes have finally caught up with us!  I apologize for this very long post!

And then Jaxon and Trixie had to join in too!

This is the furnace room after taking all of the clothes out.  The shelves are disorganized and my holiday stuff is in a pile under the stairs...

Here's the piles of clothes after the girls went through them and organized them into what to keep and what to get rid of...  The pile on the left is to keep for future use, the pile on the hockey table is to use this summer...  The boxes by the wall are clothes that are too small for Jaxon and I will try to give them back to the person who gave them to me, if she still wants them.  The rest of them I had already bagged up and loaded out to the car to give to my sister Autumn for her girls.  I should have taken a picture of that!  There was probably  approx. 15  big garbage bags full of clothes and shoes!

This is the hallway leading to the computer room and toyroom...Jaxon found the spongebob Connect Four game.

This is the computer room, but it's always been used as a room to put things that wouldn't fit anywhere else.  Rylee wants to make this her bedroom, so we have to find a place for everything in here.  Easier said than done!

And this is the toyroom.  Kaitlyn wants to move into this room, so it needs to be cleaned, too!

Lastly, this is the girls' room that they are moving out of.  Kyra wants to take over this room until Jaxon moves in with her later this year (he's still in a crib beside our bed in our room because I am having separation anxiety issues!)  This picture was taken after we moved all of the beds and dressers out...

Here's the toy room, now Kaitlyn's room, all clean except for her pile of stuff that needs to be put away as soon as she gets home from her trackmeet in Thermopolis.

 And last, but not least, here is Kyra's half of her room upstairs...

 and Jaxon's half of the room.  We had to get rid of a lot of toys so they could all fit in here!  Yaay!!! 

 Well, it took us a week to accomplish this, but it feels really good to finally have things cleared out and organized and everyone's happy!!  Hopefully we can keep it this way!!!
