Makin Progress!

June 8 - After I got done working this morning, I had an idea to cancel my Amazon order ($34.00 worth) for a Mickey Mouse decal and border, and instead, paint a picket fence and characters, using the projector that we bought when we had the daycare.  It would save me a lot of money and I would be able to do the whole Mickey Mouse gang now, instead of buying the decals one by one over the course of months.  Boy, I didn't know what I was in for!  This morning, we had to take Rylee to Powell for her orthodontist appointment and then after, we drove up to Walmart and got little bottles of acrylic paint for the characters and a few for Kaitlyn's room (she's doing a bunch of circles on her walls-I'll post pics later).  It wasn't too expensive and we were able to get all the colors we needed for about $15.  When we got home, I finished the picket fence I had started earlier this morning...
And then I started painting the characters.  This pic was taken on June 9...
 June 10...
...  Late Friday night, I finally finished it!  I added the tree and his name tonight, on a whim!  I also had to put Donald on a tree stump because he wouldn't fit on the wall between Daisy and the corner.  Looks better this way, I think!
June 11 - Saturday morning, with the room all cleaned up!
Then, we had to finish Kyra's side of the room.  I did her name and the girls helped me with the flowers.
Me and the girls put Jaxon's bed together and set it up in his room while he took a nap...
And when he woke up (he still had his jammies on from this morning) he was so excited about it!
For some reason, he started pulling toys from the closet and piling them on his bed!  So Cute!
The girls helped me tie Kyra's new cheerleading blanket together that we found at Walmart for $9.99.
 This is the before picture...
And the after!  Much better!  I also painted the black on her bed and then added the flowers this morning!
