I decided the other day that I wanted to do some accent walls in my house. I decided to go to Cowley Lumber to get the paint. So, since my brother Josh works there, he was the one to mix up the paint for me. After getting home with it, I put a little bit on my wall and panicked because it was a little too much on the pink side. I called him and he said he could try mixing other colors into it to get it closer to what I wanted. So, he put some dark red, yellow and gold tones into it and mixed it. Each time, he would swipe a little on a piece of cardboard to check the color, mix a little more and swipe again. Every time he swiped, it always looked the same color, like it wasn't even changing it. Well, I left it with him and went to Homework Club, then went back to pick it up. He didn't seem very optimistic about it since it didn't seem to have changed much even after adding all the extra colors to it, but I took it home and put a little on my wall again, next to the previous swipe I did earlier. There was definitely a difference! I was really excited because it looked like it was going to be the right color. Of course, I wouldn't really know until I had painted with it.

And here's the end result! I love it! It turned out to be the perfect color!!! Of course, I will never be able to get that exact color again because he just added colors here and there and didn't really keep track of what and how much.

Now, Kaitlyn has decided she needs to paint her room again. And, of course, Jaxon has to help with that too!
