Sheridan Bound

December 18- Because my CNA exam got cancelled in October and November, and no more are being scheduled in Powell in the foreseeable future, we had to take a trip to Sheridan in order for me to do it there.  We decided to bring the kids with us while Kaitlyn and Rylee went to Thermopolis for bball tournament.  We left on Friday afternoon and stayed the night since the test was on Saturday.  This first pic is from trip there.  Kyra wanted me to take this pic of him..lol!  We took the way from Greybull, Shell area, over the mountain.  The roads were great with only a few slick spots.  Kyra felt a little car sick on the way there because of the swervy roads.  Had to pull over and let her get some fresh air and walk around and then she was fine.  Right after we got there, we decided to try and find the place I had to take the test.  Good thing we did cause we got lost and drove around for at least a half hour before we found it.  It wasn't showing up on the GPS correctly and kept leading us to a mental hospital that wasn't even there.
 Arriving at the Holiday Inn...
Eating at the hotel...Jaxon and Kyra messing around with their napkins...

 Swimming at the hotel...

Jaxon, trying to get his shirt off...

 Kyra doing a flip underwater...

At Pizza Hut the next day after my test....I spent from 8:00 to 1:00 at the center where I took my test and the kids and Dave spent that time swimming and shopping at Walmart.

I PASSED!!!!  This was the sheet from my skills test, but the written was exactly the same as this one.  I ended up having to do blood pressure which really scared me, but I pretty much got it after one try.  Thank Heavens!!  I also did "position on side", "donning robe and gloves", and "feeding the client".  They were all fairly easy.  The only thing I forgot was to wipe the client's face after eating.  She mentioned it afterwards but didn't make a big deal of it.  Thank goodness she wasn't super strict! I had to wait 10 agonizing minutes afterwards before I found out results.  I thought I may have failed because she praised my male partner for his skills after he was done, but she didn't really say much about mine.  I've heard of people being failed from missing just one step and I wasn't very confident about the blood pressure, so I was really worried.  Thankfully, all was well!!!  I was so relieved!
We ended up having a really fun trip that ended well.  So happy the kids came and they were both in super, fantastic moods the whole time!!!!
