Building my garden fence...
Dave came up with this idea of doing it with a concrete base. Him and Kenny dug the post holes and filled with cement around the posts, all by hand.
Base done! Dave has been asking people if they think it will hold up in a strong wind, cause he's not sure. Everyone keeps telling him it's fine. I even thought there's no way that thing is going to move!!

Finished it just in time for Mothers Day!!!
This happened the day after it was finished. I came home from work and looked out window. It's been blowing hard all morning. I called Dave and told him but he didn't believe me so I sent him this picture. He was not happy and neither was I. Aaaarghhh!!
A couple of weeks late, after we cut the posts and removed all of the broken concrete and and took apart the fence panels, we started all over and did it the right way! Tyler came over and dug the post holes for us really deep so there won't be any fear of this happening again!
Deep enough, you think?
Dave filled all of the holes himself this time, all by hand....
And, it's done!!! A couple months and many winds later, it's still standing!!!
