Our experience in Lander seemed to be a twilight zone episode in that so many bad things happened....here's a few...the motel bookings got all messed up and we had to wait around for our room to be ready, so we had nowhere to go. Hung out in the car and at a park for several hours. At the hotel, the internet and wifi availability was screwy. Kyra couldn't submit her homework assignment, which was a video she had to make and upload. The fire stick wouldn't work. Our pizza we ordered, initially wasn't going to be ready for 1 1/2 hours. Kyra unexpectedly got her period and we had to scrounge up some pads for her from my bag and car. Jaxon hurt his foot. Kyra poured what she thought was syrup on her pancake, but it was coffee. Car thermometer wasn't working. Hotel pool was outside and it was way too cold to use it. But other than all the bad things, there were some good things as well....beautiful weather that started out cold but ended up so warm and nice. Good food, breakfast Buffet, pizza actually came earlier than what was said originally, we're all healthy, had safe travels, and everything worked out and we all had a fun time regardless!!
