Tachycardia

Feb 10 : During work, I had tachycardia that lasted several hours. Worked through them with breathing.  Got off work and laid down and had them again.  Splashed face with cold water, bore down, coughed, drank water, deep breaths.  Nothing was working so took metoprolol.  Made appointment with heart doctor next Friday.  Blood pressure was high too.  Had another episode a couple days later and was shaking uncontrollably. Again, it was right after I got off work and tried to lay down.  Dave stayed home with me and we made appointment to Caldwell later in the day.  Have to wear heart monitor for a week.  Only had one episode while wearing it and heart rate at one point was up in the 150's.  Caldwell that shouldn't happen unless I'm running a marathon.  They conducted EKG but everything looked good.  Tested thyroid but that was also normal.  Thyroid numbers had been off during my first afib episode in 2022 so that's why they checked them.  I haven't gone into afib again but just keep having heart palpitations and high blood pressure.  Can't figure out what's going on. Cardiologist referred me to heart rhythm specialist in Cody from Billings Clinic.  Electrocardiogram scheduled April 11.  Took lots of pictures of my heart and everything looked normal.  Will talk to specialist on May 13 for moving forward.
