July 26 Cowley's Day

Cowley's Day Fireworks....I skipped out on the parade this minoring, but invited everyone over for food and fireworks tonight.  Had a great time!!

 

Temple Trip With Mom

Mom had asked if I could take her to Billings to do some fun shopping where she can go where she wants and browse as long as she wants since she can't ever do that with Larry.  So, we also went to the temple while we were here too.  She wanted to go to Ulta to look for some things and while there, I was texting Kyra for suggestions on what she should get.  Her friend Grace chimed in with some her favorite choices and Kyra sent me this oic of them while they're at school texting us.  Went to Hobby Lobby, Target and Costco as well.  Also stopped at Five on Black for lunch cause mom was in the mood for rice.  She's never eaten here before and I haven't really either but we both really enjoyed it!  Fun day!

We have raspberries on my bush for the first time ever!!!! Picked so many this year....love it!

Replanted pots next to back step and hanging pots cause the petunias look leggy and scraggly.  Next year, just do geraniums. 

 

July 11-14 Utah Bound!!

The sign welcoming us to Utah is behind this truck.  I was gearing up to take the picture of it and Dave sped up to pass this truck right before it, and I never did see it.

These next few pics are ones I got from the girls' phones so they're out of order.... And the rest, for some reason, loaded completely backwards in order, so start from bottom and go up! :(

                                                    

16 - Ended our last night at the Air BNB playing card games....before heading home early the next morning.  Fun Trip!!!

15 - Then rode electric scooters in downtown Salt Lake....so fun!!!

14 - Treated the girls to Cheesecake Factory to celebrate their bdays....

13 - And then followed Kyra to Salt Lake to The Hogle Zoo...

12 - Next morning, me and Dave made breakfast for everyone....pancakes, bacon and eggs....

11 - Spent the rest of the night at Kyra's apartment complex playing volleyball with some college kids...

10 - Stopped somewhere that I can't remember to eat lunch....

9- Went paddle boarding and canoeing at Utah Lake.  Thought it would be prettier but it was more like Horseshoe Bend...

8- Kyra had to leave to go to her friend Grace's bridal shower, so we went thrift shopping while she was gone.  Dave stayed back at the air bnb.  Me, Kaitlyn, Jax, and Nevin got tired of waiting for Rylee to finish shopping, so we walked down to a crepe shop called "Roll Up Crepes" and shared a raspberry cream filled crepe called "The Bachelorette".  Hands down, the best crepe I've ever had!!! Delicious!!!  Browsed through an organic food store just cause it was right there and we were killing time.

7- Hit Top Golf early the next morning to start off our day!

6- Visited Kyra's apartment where her roommate left a nice note on the board and we hung out by the pool the rest of the night to chill....

5- Went to Walmart to get groceries and then to 7-11 to get free slurps on 7/11!!

4- The boys ended up going to Best Buy next door cause they couldn't stand being in such a girly store....

3- Grabbed some pizza our first night and relaxed before going to Ulta so Kaitlyn and Rylee can pick out their bday presents from Kyra....

2-Made it to the AirBNB....Jaxon on his top bunk....

1- Traffic into Orem was crazy on the interstate.....
