Backyard Fun

May 23 - During the day today, I transplanted my tomatoes into the garden and then I used the grass shavings from my husband mowing the lawn, to cover some areas of the garden.  I plan to do this all summer to help keep the weeds down.  Also, in the fall and spring when we till up the garden, the grass clippings will help break up the large clumps of dirt that I always end up with.

 Tonight, we decided to build a fire in the fire pit that we dug out a couple weeks ago.  We cooked hamburgers on the grill and then just sat around the fire while the kids all helped to keep it going.
