Ode To The Pan

You probably think this is weird and a little bit funny, but I feel I owe this pan a tribute.  I received this from my grandma who used to use it all the time when I was younger when we would go to visit her.  And who knows how long she used it before that!  All I know is that it's been around a long time and has served us well through numerous pans of macaroni and cheese, green beans, soup, and refried beans.  I mostly remember it being used at my grandma's house as her green bean pan, but she would add bacon grease to them so they weren't just plain green beans, they were the best green beans I ever had!  Well, it finally bit the dust the other day when the handle fell off.  It's not of much use to me anymore without that, so it's time to say goodbye to our dear friend.  :(
