May 16-17 -Me, Dave, Kyra, and Jax were able to drive to Lander this weekend to watch Kaitlyn at Regionals. Rylee stayed home and spent the night at Macy's in Byron with Maddison. It was 2 long days of sitting in the hot sun and mostly waiting around for Kaitlyn to compete. Jax and Ky did really well, though. We ate at McD's the first day during lunch break. We also had a few snack foods to eat while we sat on the stands. Kaitlyn ended up doing really well and took 7th in the high jump and 4th on the pole vault so qualified for state in both events. When she went to state the next weekend, she didn't place in pole vault and she tied with Bree and Marissa for 5th in high jump. I didn't go to state cause I couldn't take the days off of work, but Dave was able to go.
