SKi Accident

Feb. 14- Jaxon wanted to go on the DaBears field trip today cause his foot was feeling much better.  If he couldn't ski, he was just going to hang out in the lodge.  Turns out, he skied great with no problems at all the entire day!!  Tim Winland was super impressed by how good of a skier he was and was going to text dad to tell him.  Then, on the last run down the mountain before the bus headed home, Jaxon and Ethan Haslem came down together and Ethan tripped and fell down in front of Jaxon so Jaxon ran into him and flipped over the top of him and came down all twisted up.  He remembers his foot being turned in the wrong direction.  He couldn't move after that and another skier got help and the had to bring him down on a stretcher.  He said it was cold cause the snow kept getting kicked up in his face all the way down.  Tim took this picture and sent it to dad....awww, poor kid :(

He couldn't get on the bus cause of his splint, so he rode home with Jodi and Julie Winland.  This is him just after getting home...hurting so bad....breaks my heart....

Valentines dinner didn't really turn out as planned but I did my best....

I had to work the night shift that night and Jax couldn't leave the couch....he even peed in a cup I gave him before I left cause it hurts to move it at all....Dave sent this picture to me of him sleeping in the middle of the night...
