Prepping for the Pool

Sooo... Jaxon had his $500 from the flight that he wanted to spend on something plus the $500 that he still had from us at Easter.  He debated on whether to buy a PC or a pool and a new Xbox.  I refused to let him spend that much on just a PC, but thought a pool would be a better investment and he could still get the Xbox.  He will have spent a couple more hundred over from his savings, but will earn it back when he mows grandma's lawn this summer.  So, we started prepping a spot for the pool.  LOTS of work getting the rock shoveled and hauled over to the garden area.  Thankfully, it was a nice cool day today!

Flooded it the next morning before I headed to work so it would be soft when I got home, so I could more easily level it.  That's been really hard getting it flat enough so the pool isn't lopsided.
Looks pretty good!
Pool was supposed to be delivered but it was going to take another couple weeks, so I called up to Billings Costco and they had some in stock so I decided to go up and get it, along with our patio furniture.  Bought a couple tarps off Amazon to place it on to protect it from rocks underneath.
Cool rainy weather tonight put a damper on things....
Sun came out!! time to flatten bottom as we start to fill er up!

And we're done!! WooHoo!
