Basketball season around here lately...Jaxon's had 3-4 games every week for a few weeks now and it's been so fun to watch! Mom and Larry have been to most of them with us as well, which is super cool. They play so well as a team and I'm excited to see what they do in high school together. Jaxon has only missed one game all season so far and that's cause he caught the flu that was going around. Cooper and Mason were sick at the same time and missed the same game against Greybull. They ended up postponing a game against Powell from Monday to Thursday to allow them to play in that. Several of the 8th graders were sick for the Greybull game, so only Cooper Ward and Gary and Zach were well enough to play and the rest were 7th graders. They ended up losing. Jax was out of school Monday and Tuesday and went back Wednesday. He had started feeling sick the Saturday before and I had to give him ibuprofen to get him through a game that morning against Shoshoni. Cooper and Mason were out Monday through Wednesday, came back to school Thursday, and then they all played against Powell in Powell that night and won! They're all pretty weak and tired from being sick but they still won the game. The've dominated against Meeteetse, Riverside, Greybull (2nd game against them at Rocky cause they were all healthy then), and Ten Sleep. Beat Burlington and Powell and even Cody, but lost against Thermopolis. Jaxon scored an all time high of 13 points against Ten Sleep and even outscored Mason and Cooper that game. He won a sportsmanship award at a home game as well. He's doing awesome this year!!! No injuries yet....cross fingers!!
