Adventures with Rylee

August 16 - Rylee colored and cut my hair...trying to get back to normal hair color....

Afterwards, she needed help picking up a dining room table she had ordered for her house that got delivered at Nevin's parents' house.  Went to their house and no one was home so the boxes were just laying out front.  We never looked at the labels because we assumed they were all parts of the table, even though Rylee kept questioning the length of a couple of the boxes cause they looked way too long to fit in her dining room, but we just assumed they must be fine and we'll figure it our once we get to her house. The boxes were so long that they wouldn't fit in my car so we had to take the pieces out of the box but we managed to make it work.  I was in a hurry to get home and just wanted to be done so we just shoved everything in my car and drove away.  Laughed at how squished Rylee was but we were pretty proud of ourselves we got them all to fit!  On the way over, I asked out loud if maybe they weren't all pieces of the table and maybe something else?  We just laughed at how horrible that would be, but surely everything was fine right??  When we pulled into her apartments, but before we drove around to where her apartment was, I decided to pull over and check real quick just in case. Sure enough!  The two long boxes were addressed to Nevin's brother and they were long fence posts!!! Because they were packaged in plastic, we never got a good look at them, but funny thing is, there were labels on the plastic clearly stating that they were fence posts!!! We never even looked cause we were more concerned with getting them to fit in my car!!  Two trips around town, heavy lifting upstairs to her apartment and 2 hours later, I finally managed to be able to head home but was happy we got it all worked out!!!
