August 27 - Had my colonoscopy today at NBHH with Dr. Hill. Yesterday I had to start fasting and drink this magnesium stuff from Lovell Drug and lots of clear gatorade. It was so bad!!! I started having to go to the toilet last evening and most of the night, back and forth back and forth. Ughhh..... Worst part of this whole thing for sure!! The procedure went well...they wheeled me in, told me to lay on my left side and take a couple deep breaths and ten I was out and I woke up and it was over!! Took less than an hour for the whole thing!! Scan came out clear and all looks well. Have to go back in 5 years because of family history and Sherrill having colon cancer.
