Someway, somehow, I missed posting about this entire trip from September 2, 2023 over Labor Day weekend!! First, had to capture Jaxon in his jeans and jersey he had to wear on dress up day for football....he's wearing jeans for the first time in a long time!!!!
Started Saturday out with Jaxon's football game in Greybull, which we won 36-0!!! Jaxon made an amazing interception right at the end of the game!!
Then, we busted to Laramie right after to go to the Wyoming Cowboys 1st game of the season....
They played Texas Tech....and boy, was it exciting!! First, there was a 78 minute lightning delay, then, being down 17-0 in the 1st quarter and then watching them rally back to win the game 35-33 in double overtime!!! WooHoo!!
Got to go down on the field after the game and meet some of the players. Had a great time!!
On Sunday, we drove back to Casper and stayed another night just for fun....went to Chili's for the first time since we went to Michigan years ago....and had the chicken I so longingly remember as the best chicken ever. It was good, but for some reason, not as good as I remember....darn it!
Bored, with not much to do and not really any good movies to see, so we bribed Jaxon with food to go to the Barbie movie with us....hadn't seen it yet and was curious what all the fuss was about....it was okay but not great....torture for Jax. :)
After that, we stoped to see the Casper temple being built. SO pretty and can't wait for it to be done!!!
And of course, swimming....:)
And pizza....
