Yellowstone 2023

Had a great time in Yellowstone and thankful for the time spent with Sherrill's family and memories made before learning of her cancer in the days following after returning back to Pennsylvania....

Grandma saying goodbye to Sherrill and her family, emotional because she doesn't know when she'll see them again.  Sherrill wasn't feeling great when she came to visit but she didn't want to miss out on the trip.  The actually came because Jeremy's sister was getting married in Casper.  She almost decided to not even come up to visit us because she wasn't feeling good, but we guilted her into it by planning a trip to Yellowstone while she was here because she had mentioned before how fun it would be if we all went together.  She's been having health issues and not being able to have a BM for weeks and other symptoms.  Her Dr. told her she just needed to take stuff to clear her out and she'd be fine.  When she got back to Pennsylvania, she went in for a colonoscopy and they found colon cancer and she ended up in the hospital having to undergo surgery to remove as much of the cancer tumor that they could and then she will need chemo for the next 6 months.  Mom and Scrawny ended up going out to Pennsylvania to help her out after she got out of the hospital and as she was getting ready for chemo.  They spent the whole month of October helping take care of Greyson and run errands for her while she recuperated from surgery.
